Theatre Wallay organizes Shaam-e-Sukhan 2015 in the open

Theatre Wallay organized its annual feature – Shaam-e-Sukhan on January 17, 2015. This time, it was a very different event due to the current socio-political situation of the country. The event was held in the open, and the chosen theme was ‘religious bigotry, terrorism, and extremism’.

Participation was low as petrol crisis hit mobility of the residents of the twin cities. Even then, around 50 people joined in. Following people recited poems:

  4. Safeer Ullah Khan
  5. Rukhsana Shama
  6. Rabia Ajaib
  7. Ammar Khalid
  8. Hishaam Muzaffar
  9. Rabia Pasha
  10. Ikram Ullah Khan

A poem by Salman Faras for the martyrs of Peshawar Massacre was the highlight of the evening.
